A custom animated experience built to support a grassroots creative collective focused on amplifying Asian voices during the early pandemic.
Night Snack Club began as a small group of friends looking to stay creative, connected, and engaged during the early months of the pandemic. What started as casual video calls quickly grew into a grassroots creative collective focused on collaboration, shared expression, and amplifying Asian creative voices during a time of isolation and uncertainty.
I worked closely with the founders to help bring their vision to life through a custom animated digital experience that felt playful, expressive, and true to the spirit of the collective. My role was to take their visual ideas and concepts, validate them technically, and translate them into an interactive experience that balanced performance, motion, and usability. Together, we explored animation systems, interaction patterns, and layout approaches that allowed each project and contributor to shine, while staying grounded in the Night Snack Club brand. The result was a dynamic, collaborative platform that showcased creativity without losing the sense of community that defined the project from the start.

Collaboration & Creative Direction
Night Snack Club was built through a highly collaborative process, working directly with the founders as both creative partners and stakeholders. We explored visual concepts, interaction ideas, and motion references together, iterating quickly and translate these ideas into viable technical solutions, offering guidance on what was personality of the brand. This close collaboration ensured the final experience felt usability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
